Class of 1997!!!!

Some days it seems like forever ago, and other days it seems like only yesterday.  It's been 10 years since we've walked the mud-lined sidewalks of Cabot High School, since our Cabot Panthers finished the 1996-97 football season by going to the state playoffs, since the Sr. Lettermen made a splashing return to Cabot, and since "Guys and Dolls" entertained the town as the school musical.

It's time for our 10-Year Reunion!  Join us for a fun-filled weekend to include a family picnic and a dinner for everyone to relax, have a good time, and reconnect with old friends... and maybe some new ones!

The events will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007.  Check the Details of Events page for more information.  Also don't forget to RSVP!  Online payment methods are available!

Please look on the Missing Alumni page to see if anyone you have contact information for is on there.  If so, either send them this website, or send their information along.

Keep an eye out for changes to the website!

Update (5/31/2007):

We're only 5 short weeks away from the reunion!  Please be sure to RSVP to the events and pay in advance!  After June 15th the price per person per event will increase by $5.  Also if you are traveling from out of town, don't forget about the discounts we have (found on the "Travelers" section of the website).  These have deadlines too though... so hurry!!

Update (6/27/2007):

10 days left!!  The last day to pay online will be Monday, July 2nd.  It takes 5 days for the payment to go from the website to our bank account, so this function will be disabled after Monday.  If you cannot pay by then, please contact Joy Sims Brown at joysimsbrown@hotmail.com to make arrangements to pay by check or cash at the reunion event(s) you have RSVP'd for.

Scotty's pictures are up on his website!  And most of them are wonderful!!  Go to www.trower.smugmug.com to check them out, rate them, and purchase the ones you want!

Thanks to everyone who attended the reunion and especially to those who helped plan (Dana, Shalee, Erica).  I think everything went off fantastically, and I hope all of you do too.  Now we just need to decide whether we want a 15 year reunion or just wait another 10 years for a 20 year reunion.  If anyone has any thoughts, just let me know.  Again it was wonderful seeing everyone. -Joy Sims

Hello Everyone!!

I was so disappointed to miss the CHS Class of 1997 reunion!  The pictures looked fabulous and a HUGE thanks to Joy, Shalee, Dana, Erica and everyone else who helped with the planning.  It was so hard to not be able to attend after months of discussion and planning.  Due to my pregnancy, we were unable to travel back to Arkansas, but we plan to be there for the 15-year reunion which everyone seemed excited to attend! 

The website will only be active and available through August 15th.  Please make sure that you connect with anyone on the site that you want to by sending them an email and trading information.
